Our approach
Building Confidence in Explicit Phonics Instruction
National literacy results continue to show many students struggling with spelling and reading. Explicit phonics instruction can be missed, while many teachers have received limited training in how to teach it and have little time to build effective lessons from scratch.
Easy Spelling's Teacher Phonics Toolkit gives teachers structured professional development, classroom resources, lesson support and progress reporting without adding another layer of workload. The Student Phonics Curriculum provides an evidence-based approach to explicit spelling instruction, guiding students through sequenced lessons and interactive activities that begin with a Phonics Foundation and progress into modules Beyond Phonics.
The methodology has supported learners for more than 45 years and was developed by Jenny Lamond OAM. Now delivered through an online platform, it helps schools provide consistent spelling instruction across classrooms while allowing students to learn at their own pace.
